Ubisoft’s latest open-world game Far Cry 5 is out now and after a brief snag on Steam, it's available for PC gamers on Valve's platform too. Nonetheless, we’ve had ample time with the game on all platforms. Aside from discussing what to expect from Far Cry 5 in terms of graphics across the PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, we also talk about how the gameplay in Far Cry 5 differs from past titles in the series. Far Cry 5’s progression, gunplay, and systems are all laid bare as we explain why this is Ubisoft’s most interesting take on the series yet and perhaps the company's best open-world game this generation thus far.
In addition to this we talk about how Far Cry 5 co-op works compared to past entries as well as the Far Cry Arcade mode that’s a level editor included with the game. We also shed light on Far Cry’s history with India (which extends beyond what we’ve seen in Far Cry 4) as well as which edition of the game is worth buying.
Oh and if you were wondering if Far Cry 5 would have a price drop, you’re in luck. We ponder over ways you could get this great looking shooter for less if you’re willing to wait a bit and aren’t picky about which version of the game you want to play.
