Apple has announced an event for October 27, where it may just announce updates to its Mac lineup. All of Apple's Mac computers, barring the 12-inch single-port MacBook, have not been updated in a long time. Jamshed and Rishi join your host Pranay to discuss all that is expected from Apple's October 27 event

We discuss everything we know so far about upcoming Macs. The discussion starts with the MacBook Pro and all the hardware upgrades it could get. This includes a thinner body, a faster processor and graphics card. We also touch upon the rumoured OLED touch panel above the keyboard that Apple may announce for this MacBook Pro. We talk about which other Apple products could get this new update, which could be one of the most exciting announcements for laptops.

Following this, we talk about expected updates to the MacBook Air and the 12-inch MacBook lineup. Here's where we talk about the 2012 MacBook Pro (non-Retina) that's still available at low prices in some places. We speculate which laptop will be the new entry-level affordable machine for the Mac lineup.
