The Lumia 630 is the first new phone out the door since the deal went through, but it's obviously been under development for quite a while. • Good Value for money

I bought the phone within first week of its launch and it was my first smartphone. Here is a simple way to decide on this phone Pros 1. Good built quality. Just like your previous feature phones, don't worry if it falls and gets into three pieces. Tried it a few times, re-assemble it and it is good to go. 2. Battery life. Lasts me about one and a half days easily on medium use. 3. Nokia Apps. Nokia radio, Map and drive app work super smooth. No lag and great interface. Radio app is especially good and has all the songs free. 4. Camera. Don't go by NDTV review. Camera is great even in slight low light. You won't miss the flash much. 5. Keyboard. The intuitive keyboard works fantastically well 6. Performance. While people keep looking for 1 to 2 GB in android phone, in windows you will never face a lag in performance even with this 512 MB. Cons 1. No front camera. So no selfie. 2. Screen resolution is poor especially when playing videos. The normal interface is OK. 3. Accessories are not so good. 4. App Store. There are so many bad apps out there. I don't mind an app not being there, but false app waste a lot of time and app search feature in not so good. Whatsapp missing from store for few days was atrocious. I have seen my friends having Samsung, XOLO, Karbonn... They loose their sheen very early. But this phone seem to be built to last. It will not age as quickly in its performance and character.

  • Best fone in the market at this price range
Akhilesh Mishra (May 2, 2014) on Gadgets 360
A good dual sim windows fone. The points of discussion are usualy RAM, Camera, and processor. Nokia lumia 630 has 512 MB RAM. It is questioned that RAM is insufficient to play games and it should be at least 1GB but in my opinion 512MB RAM is sufficient for this phone as per my experience of using nokia X which also has 512MB RAM. More RAM more battary consumption. 2nd is camera I think 5 megapixel is sufficient at this price range. 3rd is processor which is more than suffient as it is 1.2 GHZ quad core. I am using a windows fone and samsung glaxy tab 2. I would like to share my bitter experience about android OS which is data eater. Once I forgot to switch off my mobile data of my android tab in the night and found that 400 MB data was consumed when I saw in mornig but with windows fone no such tipe of problem occurs. I highly recomend this fone as it is the best fone in the market.

  • Better and bigger Windows phone with Windows 8.1 on board.
Bimalendu Sen (Sep 7, 2014) on Gadgets 360
Nokia Lumia 630 is such a smartphone that could be the best choice for those who those are tired of their Android battery drawback. I was looking for a different OS smartphone and didn't think twice than Nokia with it's battery backup goodwill. I proud of my choice of a smartphone that has excellent battery backup and runs awesome after times of browsing or watching video. I always support a smartphone from 4.5-5 inch screen to browse or watch video with full of satisfaction and here is the USP of this Lumia 630. Lets start the overall user review. I bought a bright yellow one which is pretty awesome and looks decent for that I had to pay few more buck but happy with it's justification. The phone's built quality is as decent as Nokia's promise. The phone's design pretty awesome. I loved the display 854 x 480 Pixels and it's bright and clear than it's numeric tech spec. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that is nice. The USP of this phone is it is expandable upto 128GB. The camera quality is pretty exciting as Nokia promises ever. One feature for that I feel proud of my choice is it's battery backup. The 1830mAh battery is enough to last 2 days with so-so use where other smartphones lag. This is my 1st Windows phone and I have no complain with the features of Windows phone OS. I am here to review the hardware only. The phone is totally value for money phone. The best part is it's awesome look and feel with decent colour of back cover. It's got good good sound quality and viewing angle is superb. It's very easy to hold and handle. I got awesome browsing experience form IE 11. It downloads fast than Android's 1GB of RAM.My Nokia Lumia 630 an awesome piece of beauty with bold feature and performance. Only the disappointment is where the box doesn't come up with headset. I was shocked that it really doesn't when I made call to Nokia customer care. Here it lacks. I am sure most of the people will be confused that there might be a mistake while boxing. I will give 8/10. I will recommend to my review readers for sure who wants to get rid of low battery backup smartphone and bored of Android.

  • Nokia Lumia 630 Dual SIM - Best windows phone so far.
Abhay Bisht (May 17, 2014) on Gadgets 360
Nokia Lumia 630 is first dual Windows sim phone and priced at ?11,500, it is also available in single sim varient at ?10,500. It is the first of the new range of Nokia Lumia devices running the updated Windows Phone 8.1 OS. The Lumia 630 offers a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 SoC, equipped with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz per core with 512 MB RAM and 8 GB storage. The Nokia Lumia 630 gets a 4.5-inch IPS screen with 480*854 pixels resolution (218 ppi). Nokia decided to go with the same 5MP camera without flash and missing out on a front camera. It leaves many expectation unfilled with 512 MB RAM, no flash and no front camera. But still the updated WP 8.1 OS makes it a great experience. If you are not a big fan of android and finding your options in Windows then this is for you.

  • What's this from 625 to 630 downgrade??? NO LED Flash and front camera.
Sumer Singh (Oct 15, 2014) on Gadgets 360
Lumia 630 doesnot have much needed LED Flash and front camera for video calling. Pls note websitemaker (gadgets.ndtv) that you are showing LED Flash yes when we compare lumia 630 with any other phone. It misguide viewers. But a disappointment is that in an upgrade there is no LED Flash and front camera. Dual sim and Quad core are welcome change.
