LG has launched its first quad core smartphone Optimus 4X HD for Rs. 34,490
The LG Optimus 4X HD holds the Nvidia Tegra 3 chip. The chip has four physical cores clocked at 1.5 GHz in addition to a lower-clocked fifth core
It features a black textured and removable plastic back cover, which makes this huge device quite easier to hold
The smartphone comes with an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash
There is also a front camera, which can be used for video chat
The smartphone features Android 4.0 with company's own user interface on top
The user interface on the Optimus 4X HD is a very big improvement over the previous versions of the skin
LG first introduced the LG Optimus 4X HD at Mobile World Congress
Optimus 4X HD comes with 4.7-inch IPS HD display covered with a sheet of Gorilla Glass
Company has opted for a very clean and sleek look in Optimus 4X HD and there are hardly any buttons or ports on the device apart from the volume rocker, power button, 3.5mm jack and micro-USB port
The smartphone sports a big 2150 mAh battery inside, which is a positive for the device
The smartphone uses the normal SIM card unlike other flagship devices of the year, which use Micro-SIM cards
The device is just 8.9mm thick and sports angular and slab like look
The top of the smartphone also houses a secondary mic along with power button and 3.5mm headset jack
This is the third quad core smartphone to be released in the country after HTC One X and Samsung Galaxy S III
