HTC One (M8) comes with a 5-inch full-HD display and runs Android 4.4.2 with the all-new Sense 6 UI on top
HTC One (M8) is powered by a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor alongside 2GB RAM. It comes with a 5-megapixel f2.0 front camera with wide-angle lens
Like its predecessor, the HTC One (M8) sports a metallic body but the new curved edges make it easier to hold, despite being slightly heavier than the HTC One at 160g
The only bit of plastic in the phone is seen at the top, which houses the power button, which is a bit of awkward placement for a device of this size. Like the One, the One (M8) comes with an IR blaster and NFC
HTC One (M8) comes in 16GB and 32GB storage variants and supports expandable storage up to 128GB via microSD card which is located on the right side of the device above the volumne rocker (pictured above)
The left side of the HTC One (M8) has the Nano-SIM slot
The bottom edge has the standard Micro-USB slot and 3.5mm headeset jack
The highlght of the HTC One (M8) is the unique dual rear cameras - the 4-UltraPixel camera is accompanied by another camera module that lets the software get a sense of the depth in the picture
Due to the dual rear cameras, the HTC One (M8) can save a lot of meta-data related to the depth of the objects, which lets it do a of cool things in post-processing like selectively focussing on certain elements, removing/ changing the background and more
The HTC One (M8) will be available in Gunmetal Gray (left), Amber Gold (centre), and Glacial Silver (right) colour options starting April 2014
The HTC One (M8) looks and feels like the complete package and is certainly a worthy challenger to the Samsung Galaxy S5
HTC One (M8) comes with other goodies like dual front speakers with BoomSoud, improved BlinkFeed, and a brand new case with LCD display called Dot View case
