HCL has launched a new 3G-enabled tablet HCL ME Y2 in the country
The tablet has been priced at Rs. 14,999 and is now available in the market
HCL ME Y2 sports a 7-inch multi-touch capacitive screen with 1024x600p display

The new tablet runs on Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box
Company has provided both primary and secondary cameras on the tablet and ME Y2 comes with a 2MP rear camera, and VGA front camera
Powered by a 1GHz cortex-A9 processor, the ME Y2 houses 1GB of RAM
The Y2 also comes with its own ME App store featuring over 15,000 Android applications optimised for the tablet
The ME Y2 buyers will also get unlimited streaming of movies for a month for just Rs. 1, courtesy Bigflix
In a market full of budget tablets, HCL is trying to differentiate its tablet by providing better resolution display, and in-built 3G connectivity
The tablet also comes pre-installed with a host of applications, some with special offers. The Hungama Application will offer HCL ME Y2 customers with free three months subscription to download and play unlimited music, videos and ringtones
On the connectivity front, the tablet features Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth
13 mm thick, the tablet weighs 370 grams
The tablet includes mini-USB and mini-HDMI ports
HCL ME Y2 comes with 8GB internal storage, which is expandable via microSD card
HCL had previously launched Me Tab U1 and MyEdu tablets in the country earlier this year
