Datawind has recently announced its upgraded UbiSlate 7+ tablet in the Indian market. Keeping the existing price of Rs. 2,999, UbiSlate 7+ will soon go on sale in the country
The display on UbiSlate 7+ is resistive, while another tablet from the company - 7c will have capacitive display
In terms of the improvements, the tablet now comes with an 800MHz processor, 3200MHz battery and Android 2.3
The overall design of 7+ is exactly same as the predecessor and there is no visible change in the tablet
The rear of the tablet houses the label and speaker
There is only one physical Android button on the tablet in the form of Home button and it is very small and thin for normal use
The power button is placed on the left side along with the charging port and 3.5mm headphone jack
The full-sized USB 2.0 port is placed on the top of the tablet
The speaker takes most of the space at the back
The advanced version of this device, Ubislate 7C will cost Rs. 3,999
Other features of the tablet include a 7-inch resistive display, 256MB of RAM, GPRS and Wi-Fi connectivity
