Initial sound great, 20 minutes later the speakers sounded like jumble mumble. Can't hear music with deep bass in the top volume. Returning maybe just a lemon

I really wanted to like this item. I turned it on and tried to turn up the volume and was extremely disappointed with the sound quality. Absolutely terrible.Sounds like you're playing it underwater. Returned it immediately!!!

Right out of the box, the sound was muffled and not clear at all. I tried different types of music and it all sounded bad. When I turned it to max volume, both the phone and speaker, it was still very low in relation to comparable products. It also kept disconnecting and losing the stream of music, while my phone was within three feet of the speaker. The good reviews here make me think that maybe I got a bad model and I have returned it to Amazon. But I'm not risking it again and will be purchasing a different product.
