Never knew Philips would be incredible in contrast ratios. The skin color tones are brilliant and very close to being natural. It was not over-saturated or pale. The Pixel Precise HD is produces incredible blacks. View angles are terrific. Overall viewing experience is a 10/10. The inbuilt sound is feeble and below average. I had to go for a home theater to compensate for this. Overall 9/10.

Hi All..I ordered this TV today and I was happy about my buying experience. But flipkart cancelled my order without my knowledge and just sent a email later. Understand that they are following unethical way of business, advertise for attracting people and use their money and finally cancel the orders. Cheating people. I will not keep quite..taking them to the consumer court.

Must admit its a excellent product from Philips. Great Value for Money. You will not get a 40 inch LED for 30K anywhere. The best part is that I got 5K deducted from the bill by exchanging my old LCD TV. Super fast Delivery i.e Next Day.. Cheers for Philips and Flipkart.

Flipkart came up with an offer I couldn't refuse- Rs29990 for 39"LED TV plus an exchange offer on my old CRT. Ordered on Saturday evening and the TV was delivered on Monday morning!!! The Flipkart delivery was great and the product manager really helpful. The TV was installed by a Phillips authorized personnel. Now about the TV: Pros: 1. Picture quality is decent 2. Stylish design 3. Sound quality is decent (no complaints) Cons: 1. Edges tend to be darker 2. The remote control could have been of better quality Conclusion: At this price point this TV is a steal!!

Its almost one month since am using this tv. Looks - It has very good looks with the brushed metal finish on the slim bezel. Philips/flipkart should list this as this adds to the aesthetics of the tv. My phone (LG fathom) also has this finish. Video - Video quality is perfect with support to almost all the formats played via USB. I have also used HDMI with my laptop, tablet & mobile too which is awesome. Just have to buy the necessary adapters and cables. Watching HD movies/videos on this tv is certainly a treat to the eyes. Sound - Sound quality is also good. Most of the buyers may want to add-on a home theater system. Delivery - Flipkart provided fast delivery and installation of this product. In two days, everything was done. I am totally satisfied with the purchase and would recommend both Flipkart and Philips.

I was so pleased with the buying experience. It was a very quick call which confirmed the purchase and the next day I received the product. I was so surprised that two engineers from Philips visited my home and fitted the TV and demonstrated with in 4 hours. Still its working fine and I am delighted with the experience.

A great TV at an even better price. I have recently purchased this TV and am very satisfied with the product. I had gone through many of the reviews posted by many certified buyers. I was a little worried when I seen that many people giving it bad reviews for poor sound quality. I'd say whoever is looking out for good sound from an flat panel TV should by an separate speakers or a home theater system. I'm currently using cable and the picture quality is really great on SD so is the sound output. I have even connected my PC via HDMI and it the clarity and sharpness of the images is exceptional. I have watched a couple of 1080p movies on my TV (which I play via my computer) and the clarity is stunning. Since i'm using HDMI I use the TV speakers and the sound output is pretty good. After making a couple of adjustments in VLC media player the dialogues sound even better and clearer even in low volume. If someone is looking forward to buying this TV I'd say go for it! Especially for the price at which it is being offered.

I have purchased many products like tablets,mobiles,electronic items, clothings etc from Flipkarts and my experience was quite satisfactory in terms of product pricing ,quality,delivery and after sales services. However, all the above items were small in size the brand were all well established. When I intended to purchase a 39 inch LED from Flipkart , I was quite apprehensive of the quality , delivery and the support(warranty) the product would get from the manufacturer. After a little bit of due dilligencen and hesitation (because of the price difference between Flipkartand other local authorised sellers) ,I purchased the product . But happy to share that Flipkart lived up to my expectation because of promt delivery and installation as scheduled, courteous courier service and excellent packaging . The product is very good as compared to price. Flipkart offers a enjoyable hasslefree buying experience. My confidence level for purchasing from Flipkart has increased beacuse of its trustworthyness and reliability.

As reviewed by people the sound quality is not bad at all. Thanks to Flipkart that the TV was delivered the next day and got installed the same day by Philips engineers. This could happen as Flipkart has already scheduled the installation request on behalf of me.

TV ordered, received and installed in one day. Saturday morning order was delivered on Sunday afternoon and installed within 2 hours. Kudos to Flipkart. Product is extremely good and at par with any other TV of same type. Contrary to many reviews posted earlier, no issues with volume or sound.

Best quality with less price. Quick delivery ! Flipkart is good for online purchases. Only 1 USB port thats something to consider but thats fine as the output is reallyawesome

I purchased two TV one Sony Bravia 32 inch and this one. Picture quality of Philips is better than my Sony TV . Voice quality is also acceptable.

The Philips 50PFL4758 127 cm (50) LED TV has a nice bright, vibrant display and still does a nice job of keeping the cost down. The biggest upgrade to the picture and TV is the 120Hz refresh rate which is normally reserved for higher priced models. The backlighting creates a bright picture and the 1080p screen does an excellent job showing it. Colors are natural looking and not oversaturated, while picture depth is also very good.... You will not get better TV in this price range having 3 yrs warranty.

I bought this TV on Nov 15th on flipkart for 44000 through exchange offer. Many of my friends and relatives suggested for LG and Sony. but i went for philips 50 inch tv. Now i feel i made a very good choice. Philips Led TV is excellent in Picture quality. Even sony can not beat its Picture quality. The only negative point is low sound. I think its common in all Led's. Better to buy a home theatre. I recommend to buy this TV by keeping price and size of the TV. You will not get better TV in this price having 3 yrs warranty.

I bought this TV from a dealer, its much better than any samsung or sony available in India, since i was using the philips in Germany i asked for philips but unfortunately many dealers in Bangalore dont have it, even if they have it they are not ready to advertise or sell, they say all the reasons to you not to buy the philips like they Philips stopped the TV production and ask you to go for either videocon or samsung or sony. even after heavy brain wash i bought the Philips and it really a good deal at this price and the picture is just perfect. i Love the TV

Good product

This LED is amazing. It is true value for money. Colors are sharp and crisp, it does everything a TV should do. The only issue with it is sound, I recommend to buy a home theater sound system with it to enjoy the true experience of movie watching.

initially after viewing reiews about sound quality of this product, i thought not to buy. But came to know that sound quality in any LED is not that great but we have to use external sound system. so purchased it @ flipkart deal of the day offer for 30k. completely satisfied with display quality, also tested with F&D 5.1 sound system. As LCD has only 16W sound output, 5.1 system can't help much to enjoy movie experience, however as I'm using TATA SKY HD+, connected 5.1 sound system to tata sky and the experince was superb in combination to HD display of philips. Totally satisfied with this product and as usual the service from flipkart. Though picture & sound settings on LED are limited, existing options are decent enough. without 5.1 sound system, exsiting sound on LED is good enough to cater normal sound requirements. Planning to buy philips home theatre @ 10k to completely enjoy HD movie experience at home. Lastly, when I purchased this product on FK, 37k was actual price but it dipped to 32k soon after the deal of the day offer expired.
