Hi All, Writing the review after using the TV for about 3 days now. It has been a very good experience and with the excellent pricing its even better. Let me tell you the Pros and Cons of the TV: Pros: ----- 1) Nice 42 inch TV, seems to fit my drawing room perfectly, probably only Phillips TV with 42 inch at the time of my buying. 2) Picture quality is awesome, there may be some white leak detected at a completely dark room, but its ok. 3) Connected HD d2h with the TV its giving fantastic color reproduction. 4) Also watched original blueray disk like Gravity etc and its an eyecandy. There are many more... i will keep this post updating as i will be connecting my PS4 with the TV shortly. 5) Also one MOST important thing , as i see many people say that the sound is not adequately loud, BUT I am totally SATISFIED with the quality. Please check the blueray disk for sound loudness, sometimes blueray disks have low sound reproduction. Cons ------ Hmm let me think... 1) In a dark room sometimes pitch black scenes looks a little whitish . 2) No hdmi cable is included, though its not a con 3) Not all file formats are supported. Sometimes some MP4 files are not playing properly. Thats all !!! May this review help you in buying.the TV

Been using for two weeks now, has excellent features. Philips sent their person to install the very next day. Add a chromecast and you have yourself a smart TV. - Excellent display - Audio is loud enough but bass is minimal so a speaker system recommended. - SD video is also acceptable HD is brilliant. Keep watching for reduced prices and offers, you can get a much better deal if patient.

Although I wanted to buy something else I opted for this philips instead because of 5 reasons. 1. 240Hz refresh rate 2. IPS panel 3. Sound Loudness / quality. 4. Full HD 5. Very Good Picture Quality This has Sterling Performance and other brands are looting people for no solid features. upto no other brand gives such features at this prices..... thank you philips...

i bought this tv last week pros - picture clarity - elegant table stand & overall look of the tv - the price - sound is not bad is ok cons - no support to DTS audio - around 3-5 mins to detect USB drive - cheap user interface - only basic features enabled on remote . this is like a entry level tv for 42 inch

I purchased this product last week The below are my impression. 1. Display quality is good 2. Sound quality moderate 3. Remote quality modereate 4. available options moderate if we connect sound system tv sound is getting disabled

Hi when i try to plug in my hard drive it just shows loading... and does not load at all. pen drives are detected within 7 seconds. Please confirm if anyone else has the same problem , i tried with three different hard drives and the result is the same. otherwise its value for money

PHILIPS, the name demands respect, and the brand's reputation is the trap here. When you pay below average price for anything, it's foolish to expect above average product, isn't it? The power module (and that's an important aspect of any TV) is buggy, and Philips never seemed to have sent the set for a Quality Check. I'd say, stay away, despite all the good reviews!!

Seller send the wrong product and then forced me to accept the product,Flipkart executives are also not co-operative, it's been 1 month but product didn't get return till now.Please buy from amazon and avoid Flipkart if you want good and fast returns.
