Excellent TV with superb picture clarity and sound.Unmatched TV with excellent functions.

Installed the TV on my own, since Panasonic installation folks are doing a ping-pong between service centers who serve my area, and I was restless. The TV is very good, clarity, color preproduction, balance, saturation and overall on 2nd day of ownership, I'd say pretty pleased with what I see so far. Delivery was quite quick, given that this is a very bulky product. Since my cable connection is still SD (asked for HD activation from beginning on next month), I've played few FHD videos on hard-disk and the experience is simply amazing. Still need to spend a little-time fine-tuning the audio. They claim an inbuilt home-theatre quality sound module. It has some settings like how far the speakers are from wall. I suppose it'd control the reverb and bass effects. That is still pending, but volume is quite sufficient at 10% at night, 15% in day-time for most channels, and at 60% it was loud enough to cause bit of botheration in another room separated by 2 walls. I've owned many Panasonic AV products (Camcorder, 2 Lumix bridge cameras FZ28 and FZ80), etc. and consider them to be well built, reliable products, that meet a very good balance of functionality, performance, reliability, ergonomics, practicality.

Product delivered next day itself as promised by the dealer and installation done 1 day after that by Panasonic. Got a good deal on exchange of my old tv and cash back almost less than half original prize. About the tv it has very good picture and sound quality its has refresh rate 200hz. Settings were simple I was able to connect my home theatre and laptop quickly and fine tune the settings in all modes to get crisp sound and sharp video. Its not a 3d or 4k or smart tv but for the prize what they offer the specification are worth the money. One thing bit puzzled me is in the tv manual they have not to use the external voltage stabalizer and warranty is not valid if used. Considering the voltage fluctuations in India confused what to do.

Excellent TV, picture quality, build quality, features everything was great. Just go for it you wont regret with choice.

Panosonic Shinobi 49? HD LED TV (TH-49D450D). It is not Smart TV, but Panosonic Shinobi 49? HD LED TV (TH-49D450D) fulfilled my requirements i.e Very good picture/video and sound quality for HD channels (I am using Tata sky HD connection). Apart from HD channels the video/picture quality is not that great but sound quality is good. Wall mount did not happen on time as promised so my rating for customer support is Three * * *. was comparing all fhd tvs in market. none can match the display of this one. sony and lg fall far behind. fell in love when i saw the demo and compared with normal fhd of panasonic itself. 49inch is the ideal size to buy now. sony android tv 43inch comes at same price. but this is a beauty from panasonic. the marketing is poor making it less known in market!

The TV is excellent. Nice vivid colours. Always wanted a big screen. From Movies to Sports to Travel, everything looks great. I had the option of going for 43 in Smart TV or 49 in Non smart, both around same price. I opted for non-Smart and have made it Smart using Chromecast. That is the best deal. Sound output is also good in terms of volume. However, do not expect too many Sound effects/Equalizer as you would in previous Onida TV or Sony TV. Overall a good buy and I heard Panasonic TVs are not made in China. So, that feels good as well. Just the handling from Flipkart and Panasonic service center was awful. Flipkart cust care told me that Wall mount Brackets would be brought by service engg. during installation. Panasonic service center guys said they never bring Brackets and Retailer/Store supply the bracket. After lot of calls to both Cust service depts, escalations and what nots, finally Panasonic service center agreed that I will not pay for Brackets and they will bring one during Installation. But now it was low priority for them and so they took their own sweet time to come. This meant that instead of TV fully installed before Diwali day, got installed after Diwali. So, that was a really bad experience and I would blame both Flipkart and Panasonic service center. Flipkart guys please take necessary steps to plug all these holes.
