In our weekly column Personally Tech we talk to people from all walks of life to learn about the apps and gadgets that they love and can't live without. Technology has changed the way we all live and work, in myriad ways.

This week, we got to talk to Pau Abello, the Managing Director of Roca Bathroom Products Private Limited. Roca makes sanitary products including electronic toilets, but while we were hoping to hear more about Japanese toilets that include a dozen different buttons, Abello talked about how important his iPad 3rd Generation is, and why he really wants a smart wireless home cinema.

Read on to know more about the aps and gadgets that Abello depends on:

1. Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?
Pau Abello
: I use a Dell Inspiron laptop for work, it has a touchscreen which can be useful, but at home I'm using my iPad 3rd Generation. I'm not an Apple die-hard though, and my phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4.

2. What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?
Pau Abello
: Three apps on my phone that are always in use are LinkedIn for business networking, Google Maps for getting around and AccuWeather because it has really reliable information.

3. What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?
Pau Abello
: Aside from the phone, I always have my iPad with me.

4. What is your dream gadget/technology setup?
Pau Abello
: The problem with a home theatre setup is that there is too much setting up. My dream setup is a fully sophisticated wireless home cinema setup with a full Hi-Fi music system.

5. How has technology changed the way in which you work?
Pau Abello
: Technology has changed a lot, as it has for everybody. But there are too many devices and too much time working with them. Now I am focusing in trying to reduce dependency as most of the time what we are doing with devices, specially smart phones, is simply not needed.
