Read on to know more about the apps and devices he swears by.

1. Describe your technology setup - what computer/ phone/ tablet/ camera/ gaming console/ other gadgets do you use?
Ravi Pratap Singh
: At work, I use the Dell XPS 13 laptop and my all-in-one Samsung Galaxy Note 2. I find the flip screen of the XPS that converts it into a tablet a fantastic feature for feeding discussions around any table. But I really love my Note 2, though I need to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 now. I love the S-Pen and the ability to jot down notes in a meeting. My Note has jottings from all my meetings including doodles.

At home, it's the Apple Macbook Air and the iPad Mini with Retina Display, and an Xbox One. To capture the essence of my road trips into some of the most beautiful places in India, I use the Canon EOS 550D. My latest possession is the GoPro Hero 3. I got some fantastic clips while quad-biking on dunes, swimming, and zip lining. For music, it's the iPod, the Bose Wave II system and my Bose QC20 noise cancelling headphones.

2. What are three apps (mobile/ tablet or PC/ Mac) you couldn't live without?
Ravi Pratap Singh
: WhatsApp has really brought family and friends much closer. I do stay away from groups that are noisy and cause distraction. I really use Google Maps a lot to check out the route, lay of the land around where I am visiting and more recently traffic congestions. Of course, Samsung's S Note and Google Keep are the apps that I use to keep notes and track my to-dos.

3. What is the one gadget (other than your phone) you never travel without?
Ravi Pratap Singh
: Frankly, my Note 2 is one gadget I cannot travel without. It is everything for me, a communication device, a navigation device, a notepad, a camera etc. etc. Also, I always travel with my iPod and the Bose headphones.

4. What is your dream gadget/ technology setup?
Ravi Pratap Singh
: I would love to have a completely integrated entertainment/ computing set up at home. I want the ability to stream an Iron Maiden concert from my laptop to the TV and my Bose system. I tried setting it up around the Xbox and then the Chromecast but still attempting to get the ultimate dream [device] in place.

5. How has technology changed the way in which you work?
Ravi Pratap Singh
: Technology has helped me better organise myself, be far more connected and responsive, thanks to access to information.
