O General 1 Ton 3 Star Split AC (ASGA12BMTA) User Reviews and Ratings

I got it off a local dealer for 37k with installation inc copper piping, v-guard stabiliser, wiring and wall brackets.It cools my room (150 sft) in about 30 to 40 min. I thought about other brands but O General is O General.I like the looks plain and simple in white. Consumption is about a unit per hour - if put in auto mode it turns off when the desired temp is reached and turns back on when it goes up. You can set it to sleep or set the timer to turn it off and turn back on too.It is super quite in quite mode but not as chilly as it is at high speed which is a little buzzy but ok I guess.The only drawback is that the remote is not backlit. And horizontal swing is only available in 1.5 ton so you have to adjust it manually.

AC is good (hence 4 stars) but remote is having issues. It stops working every second day and then I need to reset it and it starts working again. Initially I thought that the remote is faulty, so I got it replaced with the dealer with another new remote. However, the same issue occurred again. Don?t know what?s wrong. If anyone has faced the same problem, please share your views. Thanks.

Very good when it comes to power consumption, I used for 8 hours and consumed only 7.2 units where as I tested an inverter ac of 1 ton and found it consumed about 7 units...

Fastest cooling ever.. but service facilities are bad than any other company's..performance was better than any other ac company. You should go for voltas

प्रॉडक्ट सच मैं शानदार है पर भूल कर भी amazon से नहीं खरीदना । कुछ retailer इस प्राइस मे install करके भी दे देंगे । amazon केवल समान बेचना जानते है उसके बाद की प्रोब्लेम से इन्हे कोई मतलब नहीं है इनके representative तो केवल duty पूरी करते है product के बारे मई कुछ नहीं आता उन लोगो को । अभी कुछ दिन पहले मैंने एक मोबाइल खरीदा था यहा से ..... उसमे कुछ प्रोब्लेम हो गई थी तो इनके representative को ढंग से बात करना भी नहीं आया । और न ही मेरी प्रोब्लेम का कोई solution निकाल पाये । प्लीज दोस्तो ये product काही से भी खरीद लो पर यहा से नहीं । बाद मे पछताओए ।

Worst Quality service. I bought Inverter model in Apr 2017 and since then it broken down 6 times. There PCB get faulted 3 times in warranty and after warranty 1 time and I need to spend 11000 to get new PCB.Every time I raise a complaint it almost take 3-4 days to get it resolved. Even Senior peoples in service team are not concerned about there customer. Every time technician comes with new excuse.This season my AC is not working since last 7 days and I dont know how much more time it will take to work

all ogenral ac are a junck better buy mitshubishi we have both put at the same time but o genral is trying to neglect the problem disgusted with o genral after using it for 20 years they disgust me know

The AC flap broke within a year!The ac stopped cooling within 3years!Please do not buy!There is no response from the service number nor the service team!

We bought O GENERAL SPLIT 1 ton AC through Flipkart . Not even 10 months, we had problem in cooling . So we decided to register our complaint. There started the problem. We try to call, who install our AC. Flipkart has given to install to JEEVES SERVICE COMPANY. There they said your ID number was not registered with our company. So from our company nobody came to install,as we are saying the name of the person who came to install , but they dont agree. We call to Flipkart they are telling we gave to Jeeves only. But in Jeeves they are not agree. After that we call Viveks because via Viveks only we got the bill, but no response, that phone number was not working (fake number). After that we tried to O GENERAL customer care, you know what they said, we have not given any authorisation to sell our goods on online. They too reject to solve our problem. Means warranty cannot be claimed. Nobody is ready to take the responsibility to resolve the problem. Neither Flipkart, Jeeves, Viveks or O GENERAL. Without the knowledge of O GENERAL company, how can others sell the goods, means that product is duplicate or assembling somewhere else. Flipkart knows what is happening. We have done a big mistake on buying on online. Please dont buy products on online this is the lesson for us , like us no body has been cheated any more, for that only I am giving this message, 35000 plus installation charges4000 totally 39000 we lost in 10 months. Really worst service like O GENERAL and Flipkart We have never seen.
