Bought it. It was great. IT DOES come with an European adapter. Even comes with some special stuff. All of the fun is packed in a small box not much larger than the actual product. Any videogame geek would love this affordable console as the 3D is not there. (I don't use it anyways, most of the people use 2D mode)

It's the cream of the crop when it comes to the 3DS. This is the model you should go for if you want to play 3DS games. It's sleek, the screen is gorgeous even for 240p resolution and has the same hardware as that of a new 3ds xl with the exception of the 3D feature.The 3D feature is honestly a gimmick so it shouldn't matter much as only very few games take advantage of that feature.You might be thinking to yourself about why anyone would purchase this when you can get a switch lite which costs cheaper and is a more powerful system. I'll tell you. It's game library is vast. In fact the original 3DS came out in 2011 (which I owned but sadly the display started malfunctioning). The system's firmware as of right now is fully hackable; meaning you can install homebrew and custom firmware to play games that are "ahem" downloaded from shady websites (Yes, I'm talking about pirated games)This makes the system a bang for your buck because you can play all of the great games and even enjoy the online functions with ease. There is a comprehensive guide on the internet which constructively shows the steps on how to install homebrew and subsequently, custom firmware. You can also look up Youtube videos for the same. All in all, a great product. Kudos to Nintendo.

Bought this for my grandson for Christmas. It is what he wanted.

My favorite system yet. This for me was perfect as I found the 3D on the original 3DS nauseating, therefore moving to this was the perfect solution. There's no place to hang charms from, which is a downside for me. But the speakers are located on the bottom where your hands would typically go, therefore allowing the sound to be amplified.

Awesome fun!

Love my nintendo 2ds, came with all the cables, and even the AR cards. This console does include the charger so don't worry about it. I started playing right when I opened it.

Don't use 3D on your 3DS but want a "New" 3DS XL but don't want to pay $200? Buy a 2DS XL! Everything the 3ds has, minus the 3D. Feels great, premium build and the two to three styles they have so far are really cool and unique. Love it and am super happy with it. Long live the 2DS!

If you don't care about the 3D gimmick (or it bothers your eyes, like me) then save yourself a little money and get the 2DS XL instead. It's the same internal hardware as 3DS XL, same operating system, minus the 3D. It was also pretty easy to transfer all my games from my old 2DS to this one. It took awhile (not quite 2 hours, but I had a lot of games & junk) but all I had to do was go through some easy to follow set-up instructions, and leave the 2 units laying next to each other. The screens are large, sharp and bright, much brighter than my old unit. I love it!

My son definitely loves this but I must admit that the new 2ds XL feels a bit cheap in your hands. I have a new 3DS XL and it feels pretty solid, so maybe that is the reason the 2ds feels so cheap. Its a little bit thinner on the top screen and the screen stays put really well (doesn't flop back and forth like the old 3ds's and old 3ds xl's).I still give it 5 stars because its a great little system but it does feel a bit cheap in your hands.

Amazing stuff and best quality

Bought this as a Christmas present to replace my teenage son's broken 3DS XL (hinge broke). He easily transferred over all his conent from his old 3DS. He loves it, and said he really never used the 3D feature with his games much at all, and won't miss it on the 2DS. Hopefully Nintendo has reinforced the hinge on the 2DS, as that seems to be the weak point on the 3DS, we've had three of them break at the hinge in the last few years, and my kids aren't reckless with their equipment. Time will tell.

My son loves playing games on his 2DS. It's portable and can go in the car and on trips.

Came in in excellent condition, been playing donkey kong country returns 3d, and it loads really quickly. The game also runs smoothly with the enhanced processor power. Screen res is not 1920x1080 but its more than ok to play fun nintendo games.
