5 stars Straight cause I couldn't really find any flaw in this beautiful machine. Pros Looks beautiful- the aluminium chasis is pretty sturdy and amazing to look at Price - At this price (85,000 , even though I got it for 70,000 with exchange, amazing offer! ) you just cannot find a BETTER laptop than this unless you have some relatives coming over from US who can bring you a laptop, even then this will outmatch that machine (at around 70000) Everything else is great, I won't post gaming performance because you can find that anywhere and yes this has the 4GB version of GTx 1050. The sound is Great with Good Bass which can be enhanced using the Nihimic software (didn't find that on Dvd, downloaded it from the MSI website) The battery lasts around 4 hours, depending on the usage. Can't say about heating, haven't checked it out. I had no problems whatsoever with this product out of the box. Kudos to flipkart for delivering it the next day. Really happy with my purchase. If you are someone who's in digital content and gaming, this laptop is the best of both worlds at this price.

This laptop is worth every penny i have spent. The only thing which is missing is a SSD. Other than that a beast of a laptop. i have no cons to mention here. Beautiful premium design,brilliant display,16 gigs of ram,i7 octa core processor and geforce 1050, what better could you ask for? The item arrived in 4 days and it was well packed. Kudos to flipkart and the seller. What can i say, it was a bang for the buck!

Using for 7 months now. Can say the following about the product, Pros: 1. Great graphics performance on the GTX1050. Have played FIFA, PUBG, DoTA 2, Life is Strange, Late Shift, WWE and CS:GO extensively all on highest graphics. Tried few other games as well, all of which ran smoothly on the machine. 2. No heating issue so far. The fan is really good. Had long gaming sessions lasting for 6 hours or more. No heating problem. 3. My version came with free DOS, which is actually better for people like me who want to try out some different operating systems before settling down on something. 4. Steelseries keyboard is awesome. 5. i7 7th Gen, 4gb Graphics, 16 GB RAM - speaks much about the specifications for a great gaming laptop. Cons: 1. Battery life is not very high, stays around 2 hours without battery saver. But the charging process it quite fast, so doesn't matter much. 2. Comes with a UK plug, so I needed an UK-to-India adapter. All in all, it is a great buy in its price range.

A fantastic gaming laptop and using it as production machine. Happy to own the boss.

Great value for money. The specs offers by this laptops are great for it's price, 16gb ram is awesome with gtx 1050 Only difference in this one and MSI gl52 7rd is it's not of the gaming line. This even has backlit keyboard too!

I bought this PC at 81k. It is all but if surprising here. It's a great machine with so many features . There are 16GB of 2400MHz ram with six cell battery. That lasts 4 hours in idle use. 1.5 hours on gaming. Many games run near perfect here thanka to the graphics card. The graphics card is most surprising. It's a gtx 1050 4GB GDDR5 card. Now for some you must know that the 1050 doesn't have a 4 GB version available in the market or listed in Nvidia site. I thought so and checked with 1050 TI drivers. To my surprise it is really a 1050 4GB card. So that's really well at this price. There ia no complaints against this laptop. I love it. Only con there is no windows 10. It was listed as windows 10 box but there is none. So I took off one star.

The laptop has awesome specs for the price range better than any other available at Flipkart. But the one fault with the laptop is it's display. The display is not upto the mark for the hd screen it's offering. The colours don't look so vibrant and it's kinda dull.

Worth the worth! Asthetics and Body. The looks, are subjective. Has Plastic body with a brushed aluminum finish. The body itself feels a bit flimsy :( but it's far from a deal breaker. Investing so much money, you can trust yourself to take good care of it. The Display. A very sharp and vibrant display. The brightness is good enough for most of the scenario. Also matte display helps to shield any background light. Viewing angles are good enough for people to notice what you're doing(so beware you!) from all but extreme of angles. Keyboard & Touchpad It has a (white) backlit keyboard with 3 levels of brightness. The feel is alright, compared to other membrane keyboard and has a nice key travel. but if you're used to mechanical, this is meh!. I hate that there's no start button at the left side of keyboard and if you're a power user, you'll most pprobably hate it too. If you left your mouse or don't have one, this'll work smoothly. It has a very light texture, and buttons are tactile and sturdy. but come-on GTX 1050, why am I talking about Touchpad, get a mouse. I/O Read the specs, but heads up on the DVD RW drive -_-. More battery please ? It's a USB 3.0 type c, not 3.1. Webcam is an untold tragedy. Video is terrible, audio is also...terrible, but one can still use it, under the "chalega" act. I don't use it that often especially after Snowden.( Yes, I will put a tape on it.) Speakers, I don't consider myself an audiophile, and if it's the same with you, you'll like it too. The nahimic audio driver have some good features too to modify sound of internal speakers or audio devices connected via audio jack. Upgradability. The only thing worth upgrading is to add a m.2 ssd. It does have a slot but to access it, you gotta remove the back cover and that voids the warranty. So yeah! There's a friction in upgrading this laptop. Starting up. The laptop comes with DOS. So if you're only installing linux, go right ahead(you may have to add additional drivers for wireless lan). As for windows, if that is your goto and you're a noob(like I was), to install all the drivers, you need a windows 10 preferably the latest version. I had version 10 and Nvidia graphics driver didn't install. So had to update to anniversary edition(ver. 1607 which windows may do it on it's own exhausting GBs of data in the way :P).

Good but not the best

Laptop is very good. But 4 Star due to Flipkart delivery. I mean laptop shipped from same city. It should have delivered within few days. But they took 11 days.

Gtx 1050 is ddr5 or ddr3 as mentioned ?

One of the worst packaging I've ever seen in my life. Come on I've paid more than 80k for this product and got product with risky packaging. Received this product on time. Coming to laptop feedback: Laptop looks very good. FHD screen gives bright and stunning color. Horizontal view angle is good but dont expect much in this price. Backlit keyboard is good with 3 level of brightness. Build quality is definitely nice. Aluminium feeling is giving its a very good look. I installed windows 10 64 bit myself as it didnt come with pre-installed os. I got driver dvd along with this laptop. Installed all the derivers except nvidia driver. It was throwing error "driver is not compatible with this version of windows". I installed windows 10 version 1607 once again and with this version, I was able to install latest nvidia graphics driver which I downloaded from nvidia website. Battery life is good. I didn't notice it's performance during game play. Speaker quality is good but not satisfied with what mentioned in product detail. Even I've installed all the drivers which came with dvd but still quality is not as per mentioned in product detail. Speaker quality is definitely more loud in Ubuntu. I've installed this os also. Dedicated color setting key is not working. Altough all the drivers are installed but still this key is not working. Dedicated fan speed control key is working fine but at high speed fan creates noise. Successfully registered this laptop on MSI website for warranty. Finally I'm increasing its rating from 2* to 3*. @flipkat: if customer is spending more than 80k amount for this laptop, plz do packaging with best quality. You should learn this from your competiror online shopping firm(you know which I'm referring to).

Not rating the product but Flipkart's service. The delivery was not attempted for three days even after reaching the nearest hub. On the fourth day delivery was attempted but the delivery guy said that the laptop I was giving in exchange cannot be taken as it is damaged and neither gave me the new laptop. On asking the reason he said he can't take it because it will further be tested and rejected. I asked him to wait so that I can call customer care but he did not wait. Once he was gone I checked the order status and the status is showing as "Customer rejected". There's an option to reattempt delivery as well. I called customer care and told this but I was told that as the delivery guy thinks the laptop is damaged it's damaged, without giving any reason for it. If the laptop that I am exchanging is damaged I should be given some information about the damage but nobody is ready to tell me that. The laptop that I was giving in exchange is in working condition with battery and charger and no damage. I have not rejected the delivery I still want the laptop. It seems that Flipkart is running a scam by offering a huge discount in exchange and then not actually delivering the product. This way they are able to show high number of sales and they also get to keep the money for a long duration.
