The laptop has pretty good performance and cooler boost is just awesome. Turn it on and you will feel hurricane in the back vents. Laptop remains cool even in summer of Delhi. One thing to notice, the bundled m.2 ssd is sata type not nvme what I expected. Though you won't feel the difference. Other than that the laptop is a performance beast. 1050 is pretty good at what it does. I am not a hardcore gamer but was able to run far cry 4, GTA V, Rise of the Tomb Raider in highest settings with cooler boost off.

It's been 6months I bought this laptop. It's awesome. Works like a beast. Best in performance. A must buy laptop.

Great performer

Took this laptop a couple of days from Fipkart for 1.5 lakh but as of now the price increased by 5k. pros 1.Beautifully made with aluminum and plastic looks absolutely great. 2.Great performance no issues atoll with the laptop speed and performance. 3.Cooler boost button works great its just like a hurricane of air coming through your laptop.Its really a great feature which prevents heating of your laptop. 4.Nvidia graphic card is decent and its performing really nice. It might not be the best graphic card but as i am not a hardcore gamer so i dont bother much about it.As far as its performance is concerned its decent. 5.Led is great viewing angels are rally good Cons : 1.Battery is just average or above average. 2. Average disk speed for ssd.As per msi its mentioned as pci ssd but the speed are above average around 450mbps for ssd and 150mbps for hdd. 3.Audio is just average.You can still customize the audio. If these cons are ok trust me its the best laptop you can get.

MSI GP 62 7RD is a great laptop.Over all design, keyboard & Display looks great.But keyboard single color back-lit.Audio is not so good for the lack of subwoofer.Battery back up is avarage last for about 2 to 3 hours depending on use.Windows 10 home OS installed on 128 gb SSD. Its very fast boot up. Nvidia GTX 1050 4gb VRAM is great for any recent game. Flipkart delivery & Packaging is awesome.

The Laptop was delivered in 2 days, Packaging was good, and overall a very good shopping experience with flipkart. Price was better than I could find anywhere else. One thing to note is that the Laptop is provided with a Plug, that does not fit the Indian Sockets. So an adapter would be required I bought one from the nearby electrical shop for 35 bucks. Looks great, and the build quality also feels good. The hinges for the laptop screen are smooth. It came pre-installed with Windows 10 64-Bit, and took almost an hour to set it up, and update to the latest version of windows (Downloaded around 4GB update for Windows). The dragon center comes with an option to create a bootable USB recovery drive, I feel that is great in case you format the laptop at a later point of time. It also had 60 days of norton subscription. It came with 1 year warranty, You would need the invoice copy to register at MSI and get the warranty. If you complete a survey from MSI, you would get additional 3 months warranty free. Tested the battery, got around 3 hours of backup on low to normal load. The speakers are very audible, but the sound quality is not that great. Yet to test the other configurations provided in the audio driver. Keyboard is very good, and back lighting is white in color. Yet to test the gaming performance of the Laptop, and I have a feeling that it would be decent. Overall a good Laptop.

I have been using this machine for 2 weeks now. The config is awesome at the price. It's surprisingly lightweight. It handles the heavy duty programs well. For some reason the power cord delivers is Euro standard so I have to use a converter. Delivery experience was very bad and Flipkart executives and policies and very poor way to track the package.

Offer bundled with laptop are just for show. No stocks of mouse are available. So if you are expecting a gaming mouse along with your monster don't raise your hope.
