  • NO gyroscope.. :( Please correct your specifications section.
Sourabh Chouhan (Mar 22, 2016) on Gadgets 360
Another moto phone which has NO gyroscope - Confirmed with officials - VR apps like google cardboard and photospheres will not work. Funny thing is Moto G2 has one and it works like a charm.

Siddharth Siddheshwar (Dec 6, 2018) on Gadgets 360 Recommends
This handset truely excellent in its use and performance. Used it for 2.5years with no problems in it. I would like to buy it again if it relaunches the same with some updated features

  • NO GYROSCOPE!!
Sahith Kurapati (May 1, 2016) on Gadgets 360
This page said that this phone has gyroscope sensor, but it doesn't! Be careful!Without gyroscopic sensor, most VR apps won't work at all!!

  • Good performance, low battery life
Bug Zee (Dec 18, 2015) on Gadgets 360
Feedback after 2 days of usage: Pros: 1>pure android experience- wow for a stock android experience this phone rocks, was able to enjoy NO preloaded apps and work through the day and browse with absolutely no lag.Performance wise too the phone is pretty good, the keyboard is kinda not that easy to use after using a previous samsung phone, but over all while typing long paragraphs and chat messages too the phone did not lag, so in a way it works out ok.Would probably install a third party keyboard app later sometime. 2>Quick turbo charge- an almost essential feature for all smart phones, glad they packed a turbo charger with this set, MOTO X dosent have one, so another reason why this phone is better in that sense :) 3>dust and water resistant: 48 hours and the phone looks neat n clean, the screen is a bit of a mess with fingerprints but you can always wipe it off and not worry much.would recommend a scratch guard still. Cons: 1>Battery life - well they loaded a 2470mAh battery for this one , sad sad sad, in todays world , a smart phone should have at least 3400 mAh in my honest opinion, but id say its ok as u can always TURBO charge it with ONLY THE WALL CHARGER, your data banks probably will not be able to turbo charge is what my guess is, still the phone lasts for 6-8 hours of heavy usage(1hr gaming 2-3hr talk time 1-2 hr browsing/songs) till now and 15-16 hours for light usage(15-30 min gaming, 1hr chat,1-2hr talktime) 2>Build quality: average build quality, defenitely woudnt stand apart in the crowd, not even when compared to the lesser priced models like Mi4i.Although the phone is dust and water resistant, you really dont feel the class when carring it arround. 3>Camera: I am not a selfy fan, so it dosent bother me, but the camera isnt the greatest in X or turbo editions of MOTO, its a known fact i guess!!A deferentially no go for all the selfy fans i would say :P.The images i took had to be taken twice or thirce to make sure i got the right focus. Not keen on it so overlooked camera toatally, known evil for me:P 4>Storage: out of the 16 gb , i could only see 11gb free to be used, and i was like no ways, thankfully theres a slot for expandable memries, so its a con i would say you can ignore again, yet 11 out of 16 is bull crap guys!!! Verdict: you got a 15k phone that gives you a good android performance and a decent battery life for average users who want to use a 5 inch screen with average build quality.Major advantage is that you get a turbo charger- a must have for some one like me who is on the phone every 45 mins.Except for the battery life and the plactic looks, i would have rated it 4 1/2 stars, but since thats the major draw back in my eyes, i rate it a 3 for now.
