The display sports Gorilla Glass for protection. Motorola Edge 40 Pro is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It comes with 12GB of RAM. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro runs Android 13 and is powered by a 4600mAh battery. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro supports proprietary fast charging.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Motorola Edge 40 Pro on the rear packs a triple camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel (f/1.8, 2.0-micron) primary camera; a 50-megapixel (f/2.2, 0.64-micron) camera, and a 12-megapixel (f/2.4, 1.75-micron) camera. The rear camera setup has phase detection autofocus. It has a single front camera setup for selfies, featuring a 60-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.2-micron.

Motorola Edge 40 Pro is based on Android 13 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro measures 161.16 x 74.00 x 8.59mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 199.00 grams. It was launched in Interstellar Black and Lunar Blue colours.
