We've seen the launch of several smartphones in India in 2024, from entry-level handsets to flagship models and foldable phones. The budget segment sees a lot of competition from handset companies in the country, with each new model offering iterative upgrades over their predecessors. Motorola recently launched the Moto G35 5G as its most affordable 5G smartphone. This handset will compete with smartphones like the Redmi A4 5G, Tecno Spark 30C 5G, and Lava Blaze 2 5G.

Moto G35 5G Summary

Moto G35 5G is a budget smartphone from Motorola that is priced under the Rs. 10,000 mark. It sports a 6.72-inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD screen that refreshes at 120Hz and gets bright enough when used in most conditions, but might be a little dim when there's a lot of sunlight. The company has equipped this smartphone with a 6nm Unisoc T760 chipset, which was unveiled in July 2024. This processor is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.

The smartphone runs on Android 14 and it comes with Motorola's My UX interface, and the company says it will only get one OS update to Android 15. The Moto G35 5G has a dual rear camera setup with a reliable 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and the former is the most reliable shooter on the handset. It also has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

You get a 5,000mAh battery on the Moto G35 5G, which can be charged at 18W, and the phone ships with a charger in the box. It also has an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that allows you to unlock the phone quickly using biometric authentication.
