Yu Phones
Yu Televentures is a subsidiary of Micromax Informatics Pvt Ltd. India's largest smartphone maker launched this sub-brand as an online-only venture. Yu makes affordable Android smartphones, sold in flash sales on popular Indian ecommerce websites. The company also makes a fitness tracker and a health device that monitors vital parameters such as blood pressure. Yu's latest mobile launch is the Ace. The mobile was launched in August 2018. The phone comes with a 5.45-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1440 pixels at a PPI of 295 pixels per inch.
The Yu Ace is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Yu Ace packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Yu Ace runs Android 8.1 and is powered by a 4000mAh.
The Yu Ace is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, Micro-USB, FM, Active 4G on both SIM cards and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and Ambient light sensor.
