Yandex started in the 1990s as a search engine similar to Google but has since expanded into every corner of the Russian internet with apps that Russians use every day. In 2018, the company launched its first phone. Yandex's latest mobile launch is the Phone. The mobile was launched in December 2018. The phone comes with a 5.65-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels.

It comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Yandex Phone packs a 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Yandex Phone runs Android 8.1 and is powered by a 3050mAh. It measures 150.10 x 72.50 x 8.28 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 163.00 grams.

The Yandex Phone is a dual SIM mobile that accepts . Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
