The world's second largest telecommunications provider, Vodafone has also embarked on to the production of mobile phones. Vodafone offers voice and cellular data services in India, among many other countries across the world. The company is set to roll out its 4G Internet services in India in 2015. Vodafone's latest mobile launch is the Smart. The mobile was launched in December 2011. The phone comes with a 2.80-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 pixels by 320 pixels.
The Vodafone Smart is powered by 528 MHz one-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 (MSM7225) processor and The phone packs 130MB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Vodafone Smart packs a 2-megapixel primary camera on the rear
The Vodafone Smart runs Android 2.2 and is powered by a 1200mAh removable battery. It measures 103.80 x 56.80 x 12.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 104.00 grams.
The Vodafone Smart is a single SIM (GSM) mobile that accepts a Regular-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor and Accelerometer.
