Founded back in 1969 as Samsung Electric Industries, Suwon, South Korea-headquartered Samsung Electronics today makes everything from televisions to semiconductors. It released its first Android smartphone in 2009, and can be credited with the launch of the first Android tablet back in 2010. The company is among the biggest players in the smartphone market in the world. It has recently developed smartphones running Tizen OS, as an alternative to its Android-based smartphones. Samsung's latest mobile launch is the W27. The mobile was launched in 29th October 2026. with a resolution of 2256 pixels by 2504 pixels. The Samsung W27 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and it comes with 12GB of RAM. The phone packs 256GB of internal storage. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Samsung W27 packs a 200-megapixel (f/1.7) + 50-megapixel (f/1.9) + 10-megapixel (f/2.4) primary camera on the rear and a 10-megapixel (f/2.2) + 10-megapixel (f/2.2) front shooter for selfies. The Samsung W27 runs Android 17 and is powered by a 5000mAh. It measures 158.40 x 143.20 x 4.10 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 215.00 grams. The Samsung W27 is a dual SIM mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Fingerprint sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
