PepsiCo is the company that manufactures the carbonated soft drink Pepsi. The company was founded in 1893 and has established itself as one of the world's largest food and beverages brands. The company stepped into the smartphone business in 2015. It lent its branding to a smartphone manufactured by Chinese firm Shenzhen Scooby Communication Equipment and said it plans to market accessories too. Pepsi's latest mobile launch is the Phone P1. The mobile was launched in November 2015. The phone comes with a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.
The Pepsi Phone P1 is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Pepsi Phone P1 packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Pepsi Phone P1 runs Android 5.1 and is powered by a 3000mAh non removable battery. It measures 152.20 x 76.20 x 7.70 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 158.00 grams.
The Pepsi Phone P1 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G and 4G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
