Obi Worldphone is a company founded by former Apple CEO John Sculley. The company was originally named Obi Mobiles when it was founded in 2014. In 2015 the firm changed its name to Obi Worldphone. The company is targeting emerging markets through its low-cost smartphones running Google's Android operating system. Obi's latest mobile launch is the Alligator S454. The mobile was launched in November 2014. The phone comes with a 4.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 pixels by 960 pixels.
The Obi Alligator S454 is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Obi Alligator S454 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
