Obi Camera Phones
Obi Worldphone is a company founded by former Apple CEO John Sculley. The company was originally named Obi Mobiles when it was founded in 2014. In 2015 the firm changed its name to Obi Worldphone. The company is targeting emerging markets through its low-cost smartphones running Google's Android operating system. Obi's latest mobile launch is the Octopus S520. The mobile was launched in July 2014. The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels.
The Obi Octopus S520 is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and it comes with 1GB of RAM. The phone packs 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Obi Octopus S520 packs a 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 2-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Obi Octopus S520 runs Android 4.4.2 and is powered by a 1800mAh non removable battery. It measures 145.00 x 75.00 x 8.40 (height x width x thickness) .
The Obi Octopus S520 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Regular and Micro-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM and 3G. Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor and Accelerometer.
