Founded in October 2012 as ZTE's wholly-owned subsidiary, Nubia Technology is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It became an independent company in 2015. In 2017, ZTE reduced its stake in Nubia to 49.9 percent. Nubia now has operations around the world including North America, South America, Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia, and India. Nubia's latest mobile launch is the Z40 Pro. The mobile was launched in 25th February 2022. The phone comes with a 6.67-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2400 pixels at a PPI of 395 pixels per inch.

The Nubia Z40 Pro is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nubia Z40 Pro packs a 64-megapixel + 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies.

The Nubia Z40 Pro runs Android 12 and is powered by a 5000mAh non removable battery. It measures 161.90 x 72.90 x 8.40 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 199.00 grams.

The Nubia Z40 Pro is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include In-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
