Founded in October 2012 as ZTE's wholly-owned subsidiary, Nubia Technology is a Chinese smartphone manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It became an independent company in 2015. In 2017, ZTE reduced its stake in Nubia to 49.9 percent. Nubia now has operations around the world including North America, South America, Europe, Russia, Southeast Asia, and India. Nubia's latest mobile launch is the Z80 Ultra. The mobile was launched in 22nd October 2025. The Nubia Z80 Ultra runs Android 16 and is powered by a 7200mAh non removable battery. It measures 164.50 x 77.20 x 8.60 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 227.00 grams.
