ZTE, adding to its line of 'Prague' smartphone series, has now launched a new handset dubbed Nubia Prague S. The smartphone is available for pre-orders in China at CNY 2,499 and will start shipping from Saturday.
The ZTE Nubia Prague S is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Nano-SIM) supporting smartphone that runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with the Nubia UI 3.0 skin. It features a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution Super Amoled OGS 2.5D display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The handset packs a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU, and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM.
On the camera front, the Nubia Prague S sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), f/2.2 aperture, 5P Lens, and LED flash. Also included is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and a wide-angle lens. Both run on the company's native NeoVision 5.2 Camera UI. The smartphone houses 64GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card (up to 128GB).
The ZTE Nubia Prague S supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity. Backed by a 2200mAh battery, which is rated to charge the handset from 0-25 percent in 10 minutes with fast charging technology, the handset will be available in Silver and Rose Gold colour variants. The smartphone was announced by the company via its Weibo account.
The metal-clad smartphone is slim at 6.8mm and features FiT (Frame Interactive Technology) for one-hand use. Also featured is an Eyeprint ID scanner. The audio in the Nubia Prague S is powered by NeoSound 4.0, AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip7.1-channel Dolby audio and Dolby decoder.
