Speaking on the launch, Xu Dejun, CEO of ZTE India, said, "We are optimistic on our marketing and channel spends and looking at strengthening the brand from all fronts. Our distribution and sales structure is backed by a strong network of 214 service centres across the country."

The ZTE Grand X Quad Lite smartphone will not hit the stores immediately but will be available in the coming days.

The Chinese handset vendor, which is the second largest telecom equipment maker and the world's fourth largest mobile handset manufacturer, has launched Grand X in the mid-range segment and is targeting some of the dominant players in the category that includes Micromax, Karbonn, Intex, among others.
