Yu Mobiles, a Micromax subsidiary, on Thursday launched the Yu Yureka 2. The smartphone is the latest entrant in the Yureka series from the company, since the Yu Yureka Black was launched back in June. The smartphone will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart during the Big Billion Days sale, which starts from September 20. Highlights include a metal body, 5.5-inch full-HD display, 2.5D glass, a Snapdragon 625 SoC, 4GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel front camera, a fingerprint sensor, a 3930mAh battery, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.
Yu Yureka 2 price in India is Rs. 11,999, and the smartphone will go on sale from September 20, exclusively via Flipkart during the online marketplace's Big Billion Days Sale.
The dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) Yu Yureka 2 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) IPS display. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone bears a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Yu Yureka 2 comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor. The smartphone is powered by a 3930mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 for fast charging.
