The Xolo Q2500 runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box; however, the official site claims that the device is upgradeable to Android 4.4 KitKat. It's worth mentioning that Xolo launched the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean-based Q1100 smartphone in February.
The Xolo Q2500 smartphone offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support. The new Android smartphone from Xolo features a 6-inch HD IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution, translating to a pixel density of 245ppi. A quad-core MediaTek (MTK 6582) processor powers the device, clocked at 1.3GHz with a Mali 400 - MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM.
The new Xolo smartphone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, while there is a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Q2500's rear camera comes with features such as scene detection, HDR, face recognition, Panorama and geo tagging.
The smartphone comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Xolo Q25000 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G connectivity options. It is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which according to the official site can deliver up to 40 hours of talktime and 600 hours of standby time on 2G network. The Xolo Q2500 is available in Black colour variant.
Earlier, Xolo expanded its budget 'A-series' of smartphones, with the introduction of the A510s. The Xolo A510s runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It offers dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) support.
