The Xolo Q1001 is a dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) smartphone that runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box. It features a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display with a pixel density of 196ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6582M processor coupled with Mali-400 MP2 GPU and 512MB of RAM.
The handset sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The Xolo Q1001 comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
Connectivity options on the Xolo Q1001 include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth 4.0. It also features sensors such as accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
The 2000mAh battery of the Xolo Q1001 is rated to deliver up to 12 hours of talk time on 3G and up to 22 hours of talk time on 2G network. The handset measures 143x73.2x9.5mm. The Xolo Q1000 in its White colour is up for purchase via Snapdeal at Rs. 5,789.
Earlier this month, the company had launched Xolo 600 Club similarly via a listing on its website. Officially priced at Rs. 6,499, the smartphone is available at even lower prices through various third-party online retailers. The Xolo Q600 Club comes with special box speakers with DTS audio support, smart remote solution and HotKnot technology for sharing data.
