Xiaomi launched its Redmi Note 5A smartphone earlier this year and while there is still no official word on the regular variant - Redmi Note 5 - the Plus variant from the series might be launched soon by the company. This is because the alleged live images of Redmi Note 5 Plus retail box have now surfaced on the Internet.
While the leaked live images, shared by Android Headlines, do not reveal any particular information about the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone, it sure does a good job of suggesting its presence. The newly leaked image hardly gives away much, but previous leaks have suggested that the Redmi Note 5 Plus will come with similar specifications as the Redmi Note 5.
To recall, The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 630 processor. The handset has been tipped to come in just two RAM and storage variants - 3GB/ 32GB and 4GB/ 64GB - ditching the 2GB RAM variant that was seen on its predecessor, the Redmi Note 4. In terms of graphical performance, the device is said to come with Adreno 508 GPU. It is expected to pack a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixel) display.
In terms of optics, Xiaomi has been said to offer a 16-megapixel main camera to its mid-range segment with the Redmi Note 5. The rear camera, said to have an f/2.0 aperture, is accompanied by an LED flash module. On the front side, the smartphone is expected pack a 13-megapixel camera.
