Xiaomi's new Redmi 4 along with Mi Note 2 has been tipped to launch within a month. According to a tipster on Weibo, the alleged Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be revealed on August 25 while the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be showcased on September 5.

The China-based tipster has also claimed that the Redmi 4 will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. It is expected to be priced at CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 7,000). Other innards tipped for the handset include a 5-inch full-HD display, metal body, fingerprint scanner, and 4100mAh battery with fast charging support.

The same Chinese tipster claims that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may be launched in two variants priced at CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs. 25,000) for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage model, and a 128GB storage model priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 28,000). Some of the innards of the Mi Note 2 claimed by the tipster include Amoled display, Snapdragon 821 SoC, 3600mAh battery, metal body, and fingerprint scanner.

Additionally, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 was also spotted on Geekbench benchmark listing (via GSM Arena). According to the listing, the purported handset will sport Snapdragon 625 SoC and come with LTE Cat. 7 support. The Redmi 4 variant spotted at the benchmark listing featured 3GB of RAM and ran Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

The Chinese company recently confirmed plans to launch Air Purifiers in India. With the launch, Xiaomi will enter a new segment in the country which has so far launched products various categories including phones, accessories, and tablets.
