Two new Xiaomi devices have reportedly passed Tenaa, the Chinese telecommunications certification authority. The listings reveal some specifications and images of the alleged devices codenamed as Mi 2016030 and Mi 2015115.

Notably, the unannounced Mi 2016030 and Mi 2015115 smartphones look identical to the current Xiaomi Redmi 3 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 respectively tipping we may have the first look at the successors. Both the handsets can be seen featuring fingerprint scanners on their back panels.

According to the Tenaa listing, the Mi 2016030 features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) LCD display; an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz; 2GB of RAM; 16GB of inbuilt storage; a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera. The listing claims that the Mi 2016030 will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and will pack 2850mAh battery. It is said to come with dimensions 139.3x69.6x8.5mm and weigh 143 grams. A report claims that the Mi 2016030 could be launched as Xiaomi Redmi 3A.

Considering that the Xiaomi Redmi 3 smartphone was priced at CNY 699 (approximately Rs. 7,000) at launch. We can expect the alleged Redmi 3A smartphone to be launched around this price point.

The alleged Redmi Note 3 successor listed as the Mi 2015115, on the other hand, is said to feature a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) display; powered by a hexa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz; 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of inbuilt storage. The handset is listed to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset packs a large 4000mAh battery and is seen running Android 5.1.1 Lollipop in the Tenaa listing. It measures 149.9x76x8.6mm and weighs roughly 166 grams.

Xiaomi last year launched the Redmi Note 3 starting at CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 9,500) for the 2GB RAM model. We can expect the Chinese company to launch the alleged Redmi Note 3 successor around the original smartphone.
