Tech Sina reports (via Tech In Asia) that Jun at the event shared Xiaomi's target to sell between 80 and 100 million handsets in 2015. The report also cited Jun to say Xiaomi is hoping to achieve a total revenue between CNY 100 billion and 200 billion this year.
To recall, Xiaomi claims it sold over 61 million phones in 2014, which was up 227 percent from a year earlier. The company in January also announced it had generated revenue of CNY 26.6 billion in 2014.

Soon after the launch of Mi Note phablet in January, reports emerged that Xiaomi's latest phablet might touch 15 million shipping units this year.
The Chinese company in December claimed that it sold 1 million smartphones in India. The company, which is also known as China's Apple, entered the Indian market only in July with its Mi 3 smartphone, which means Xiaomi managed to sell 1 million handsets in under 6 months. So far, Xiaomi has launched the Mi 3, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note, Redmi Note 4G, and Mi 4 in India.

Xiaomi India over the weekend started a new contest on its official site and teased the launch of a new product on Thursday. The new product likely to launch on March 12 is the Xiaomi Redmi 2.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 is expected to launch this week considering that the company's exclusive online partner in India, Flipkart, is no longer selling the Xiaomi Redmi 1S.
