Xiaomi's Mi Note 2 smartphone may not have seen availability outside the China market, but if a new leak is to be believed then the company is already working on the Mi Note 3.

The alleged smartphone has been spotted in a leaked render. The Xiaomi branded smartphone is believed to be the successor to the Mi Note 2, which was launched in October last year.

The low-resolution image of the alleged Mi Note 3 shows the front panel with near bezel-less design. There's a home button located right below the screen which is likely to integrate the fingerprint scanner as well. One of the biggest highlights of the alleged Mi Note 3 is said to be the dual-rear camera setup which looks similar to what we already saw on the Mi 6.

Some of the rumoured specifications of the Mi Note 3 include 5.7-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 128GB storage, and 4000mAh battery. Further, the Mi Note 3 is said to include 12-megapixel dual-rear cameras alongside an 8-megapixel front camera. MobilExpose shared the image purportedly claiming to show the Mi Note 3.

To recall, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was launched in three variants last year: a 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage model priced at CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 27,600), a 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model at CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 32,600), and the Global Edition 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 34,500). The biggest highlight of the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was its 5.7-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) OLED flexible display with a 77.2 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 110 percent NSTC gamut.

The Chinese company is also rumoured to be working on a lite variant of the Mi 6 likely to launch as the Mi 6c. The new Xiaomi smartphone dubbed Jason was spotted in benchmarks tipping that it might be on the cards next.
