A Chinese phone tipster has claimed that Xiaomi's Mi MIX Nano sporting a 5.5-inch screen will launch soon. Sharing an image on Weibo, the tipster also claimed some innards of the unannounced handset including 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, which will be slightly less than the Mi MIX. It is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handset will come with 4GB of RAM and will pack 64GB of storage. The tipster also claimed a pricing of CNY 3,000 (approximately Rs. 30,000). The tipster also shared a blurry image of the alleged Mi MIX Nano smartphone taken in dark condition. Unfortunately, not much could be deciphered on the design front.

Of course, as with all rumours and leaks, we advise readers to take the above information about the Xiaomi Mi MIX Nano with a pinch of salt, as Xiaomi has yet to make any announcement about its new smartphone and the credibility of the source cannot be independently verified.

Coming to the Mi MIX smartphone which was launched last month, the biggest highlight of the Xiaomi Mi MIX is its display with curved edges on top. It features a 6.4-inch display that comes with a 17:9 aspect, and screen resolution of 1080x2040 pixels, and a pixel density of 362ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC, coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. Xiaomi has included a 16-megapixel rear camera with PDAF, an f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash. It bears a 5-megapixel front camera. Unfortunately, the Chinese company has already revealed that it has no plans to launch the Mi MIX in India.
