The Mi Max Prime also offers option to further expand storage via a microSD slot (up to 128GB). It supports hybrid dual-SIM configuration, and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow-based MIUI 8. As for the optics, there's a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), f/2.0 aperture, and LED flash. The phablet also bears a 5-megapixel front camera on board with 85-degree wide-angle view.
The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime is backed by a 4850mAh battery, which the company claims can offer up to 14 hours of video playback. The dimensions measure at 173.1x88.3x7.5mm and the smartphone weighs at 203 grams. It sports an infrared emitter to act as a universal remote control, apart from an ambient light sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer, and proximity sensor.
