An online retailer has listed the company's next flagship as 'out of stock' along with the price and specifications, potentially spilling the beans ahead of the official unveiling. The Xiaomi Mi 4 has been listed at $599.99 (roughly Rs. 36,000) and the online retailer's listing notes, "Xiaomi Mi4 this flagsip product will be available in countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, Brazil, Vietnam, Turkey, Thailand, and India." The Mi 4 is currently listed as 'out of stock'.
The listing also includes an image of the unannounced Mi 4, although it seems more like a 'Photoshopped' image based on previous leaks. For specifications, the listing claims Mi 4 comes with a 5.5-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display offering 538ppi; 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor; 3GB of RAM; 32GB of inbuilt storage; 16-megapixel OIS rear camera; 5-megapixel front camera; 3200mAh battery, and single SIM support (Micro-SIM). The handset is listed running MIUI Version 5, which is based on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Of course, since this is a third-party store listing, one cannot be certain if this will be the official launch price and specifications of the Mi 4, when the phone is unveiled on July 22. GSM Arena spotted the Xiaomi World listing first.
Xiaomi seems to be leaving no stone unturned ahead of its Mi 4 unveiling. The popular Chinese handset maker teased images of the 'steel invite' for the event.
Xiaomi India, on the other hand, had a busy week in India. The company marked its entry to the Indian market with the launch of its Mi 3 flagship.
