The Videocon A53 features a 5.3-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) display and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Other specifications include 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 32GB expandable storage via microSD card and 1800mAh battery.
The Videocon A54 runs a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and packs a 2500mAh battery. It includes a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Other specifications of the A54 are similar to that of Videocon A53.
The Videocon A55qHD as the name suggests features a 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixel) display. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage and can be expandable up to 32GB with microSD card. The device sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also includes a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The Videocon A55qHD is backed by a 2000mAh battery.
Out of the eight newly announced smartphones under Infinium series, the Videocon A55HD earlier this year for Rs. 13,499. Videocon A55HD packs in 1.2GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and has a pixel density of 295ppi. Videocon has adopted the one-glass solution (OGS) technology for the display of the device. Other specifications include 4GB storage, expanded up to 32GB (microSD card), 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and 3.2-megapixel front camera. It runs Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes loaded with a 2,000mAh battery.
Videocon also launched the A42 recently for Rs. 7,490. It features 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB RAM. Other specifications include 4GB of inbuilt storage, 32GB expandable via microSD card, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
The Videocon A48 comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixel) IPS display and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor. The smartphone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and includes a 1650mAh battery. There is a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera while there is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It includes 4GB of inbuilt storage and 512MB of RAM.
The Videocon A31 comes with 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixel) IPS display. It includes 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. It runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and sports 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash accompanied by a front 1.3-megapixel camera. It includes 4GB of inbuilt storage..
Videocon Mobiles had announced some time back that it will launch six new Android smartphones this year.
