Videocon has expanded its Infinium Android smartphone range with the launch of the Infinium Z40 Lite, Infinium Z50Q Lite, Infinium Z50Q Star, and Infinium Zest Lite. The company has listed all the four phones on its official website without pricing and availability details.

We can expect that the Videocon Infinium Z40 Lite, Infinium Z50Q Lite, Infinium Z50Q Star, and Infinium Zest Lite will be made available in India soon by the company. All four new Videocon Infinium series smartphones support dual-SIM connectivity with dual standby.

The Videocon Infinium Z40 Lite features a 4-inch (480x800 pixels) display and is powered by a 1GHz single core processor alongside 256MB of RAM. There is 2GB of inbuilt storage onboard that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). The smartphone sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, and Micro-USB. The smartphone is backed by a 1450mAh battery. The Android 4.4 KitKat-based Infinium Z40 Lite will be available in White with Silver and Black with Silver colours.

Both the Videocon Infinium Z50Q Lite and Infinium Z50Q Star smartphones share a lot of similar specifications such as a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display; a 2000mAh battery, and a 5-megapixel rear camera.

Both the smartphones are powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. However, the Infinium Z50Q Star includes 1GB of RAM, while the Infinium Z50Q Lite comes with just 512MB of RAM. Both feature 4GB of built-in storage and support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB).

Another notable difference between the two Videocon handsets is in the camera department - Infinium Z50Q Star sports a 2-megapixel front camera and the Infinium Z50Q Lite packs a 0.3-megapixel front camera. Both Videocon smartphones support Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, and Micro-USB connectivity options. The Android 4.4 KitKat-based Videocon Infinium Z50Q Lite and Infinium Z50Q Star will be available in White, Red and Blue colours.

Lastly, Videocon Infinium Zest Lite features a 3.5-inch (320x480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1GHz single-core processor coupled with 256MB of RAM. It includes 512MB of inbuilt storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).

The Android 4.2 Jelly Bean-based Infinium Zest Lite sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. There is a 0.3-megapixel front camera also onboard. Unfortunately, the Infinium Zest Lite does not support 3G connectivity. It comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, A-GPS, and Micro-USB connectivity options.

The Infinium Zest Lite is backed by a 1400mAh battery and will be available in Black, White and Blue colours.
