Rumours of Nokia's alleged Lumia 1520 have been floating around for weeks now, with the most recent report pegging the device's launch to be pushed back to October. However, it appears that the Finnish handset maker is also working on another Lumia device which will be exclusive to Verizon.

Purported images of a White variant of an unnamed Lumia device have been shared on the Chinese forum, Weibo. Windows Phone Central notes that the images of the unknown Lumia device might be bound to Verizon as the rear panel of the phone comes with logo of the carrier. The site also notes that Nokia had previously launched the flagship Nokia Lumia 920 on AT&T which was later available on Verizon as the Lumia 928.

The leaked image shows the rear panel of the device that houses the camera alongside a dual-LED flash. The rear camera appears to have a 20-megapixel sensor with PureView branding on it along with Carl Zeiss optics. The speaker grill is placed on the lower side of the device. The Nokia branding can be seen in the centre while other brandings include Verizon logo and 4G LTE. The design of the device appears to be identical to that of the unibody design of the Nokia Lumia 720.

The site claims that the tipster on the Chinese forum defines the device as a "big, big" Windows Phone, which indicates the unknown Lumia device spotted might just be the rumoured Lumia 1520's Verizon-bound variant.

Previously, the Lumia 1520 was leaked in high-resolution images that revealed the device in its full glory. The leaked images showed the alleged Lumia 1520 sized up against a Sony Xperia smartphone.
