Swipe Technologies on Saturday launched a new budget smartphone in India, the Swipe Elite Pro. Priced at Rs. 6,999, the smartphone is now available to buy via Snapdeal. The smartphone's highlights are its 4G VoLTE support, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of inbuilt storage at its price point.
"Swipe Elite Pro is power packed with features that stands on our promise of delivering true quality at the true value of money," said Shripal Gandhi, Founder and CEO, Swipe Technologies, in a statement.
The dual-SIM (Micro+Nano) Swipe Elite Pro runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC (model unspecified) clocked at 1.4GHz, coupled with 3GB of RAM. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Swipe Elite Pro packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear with flash, apart from a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Swipe Elite Pro packs 32GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 64GB). Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB port. The smartphone is powered by a 2500mAh non-removable battery, measures 143.4x71.8x8.7mm, and weighs 165 grams. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer and digital compass.
Swipe in August launched the Neo Power in India, priced at Rs. 2,999. The biggest highlight of the Swipe Neo Power is the presence of 4G VoLTE connectivity and a 2500mAh battery at that price point.
