Swipe Technologies has launched the successor to its Elite 2 budget smartphone - the Swipe Elite 3 - with 4G VoLTE support at Rs. 5,499. The smartphone has been made available exclusively through Flipkart from Tuesday in Space Grey and Champagne Gold colour variants.
The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Indus OS out-of-the-box. The Swipe Elite 3 sports a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).
In terms of optics, just like its predecessor, the Swipe Elite 3 features an 8-megapixel rear camera tagged with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone houses a 2500mAh battery. The device measures 142.1x72.1x9.1mm and weighs 172.5 grams.
Apart from the support for 4G VoLTE, Swipe Elite 3 smartphone offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio. The sensors on the device include proximity sensor and accelerometer.
The Swipe Elite 3 comes with support for 12 regional languages and has Opera Mini Browser pre-installed on the device.
Just last week, Swipe Technologies launched its Swipe Konnect Star Android 6.0 Marshmallow smartphone with 4G VoLTE support at Rs. 3,799. The smartphone features a 4-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.0GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The device comes with 16GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
