The company has also announced a preview sale exclusive for Uber cab riders from October 30 to November 7. However, the Uber exclusive sale is limited to cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune. The Swipe Elite 2 becomes the cheapest 4G smartphone in the country, taking the mantle from the Lenovo A2010 (priced at Rs. 4,990), ZTE Blade Qlux 4G and the Phicomm Energy 653 that were launched recently carrying a price tag of Rs. 4,999. The Elite 2 supports both LTE bands in India - FDD 1800MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300MHz (Band 40).
The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Elite 2 is a dual-SIM supporting smartphone that features a 4.5-inch IPS display with a qHD (540x960 pixels) resolution. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB). The handset also features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Swipe Elite 2 is backed by a 1900mAh battery.
Connectivity options of the Elite 2 smartphone apart from 4G include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0, and GPS/ A-GPS.
