The Spice Stellar 405, a new budget offering from the smartphone maker, is now available to buy from its e-commerce website at Rs. 3,299. The smartphone has yet to be listed on the company website.
The dual-SIM dual standby Spice Stellar 405 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with no mention of an upcoming Android 5.0 Lollipop update. The smartphone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (unspecified chipset model) with 512MB of RAM. It features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) display.
The Spice Stellar 405 sports a 3.2-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, while it also houses a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone includes 4GB of inbuilt storage that is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It packs a 1500mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and 6 hours of standby time on 2G networks.

Apart from 3G network support, connectivity options on the Spice Stellar 405 include Wi-Fi, FM radio, Bluetooth and GPS/ A-GPS. The handset is available to buy from the company-owned Saholic website in midnight Black colour variant only.
The firm last month launched its first smartphone with 4G support in India, the Stellar 519. The smartphone is available in India via major retail stores including Spice Hotspot stores as well as online stores such as Saholic.com.
The firm also launched a new variant of its Spice Stellar 526, the Spice Stellar 526n Octa. The Spice Stellar 526 was the company's first hexa-core processor-powered handset.
