Earlier, Intex launched first touch-and-type Qwerty smartphone, the Aqua Qwerty priced at Rs. 4,990 in April.
Notably, both the Intex Aqua Qwerty and Spice Stellar 360 come with support for 3G connectivity - a strong selling point in this price segment.
The Spice Stellar 360 runs the dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support with dual standby. Further, both the SIM card slots support 3G SIM cards.
The new Android smartphone from Spice features a 3.5-inch TFT LCD display with a 320x480 pixel resolution. A dual-core processor (unspecified chipset) powers the device, clocked at 1.3GHz, coupled with 512MB of RAM.
Spice Stellar 360 sports a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, while there is a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard. The smartphone comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, and can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The Spice Stellar 360 supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE and 3G connectivity options.
It is backed by a 1500mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 5 hours of talk time and 192 hours of standby time on 2G network. The Spice Stellar 360 will be available in White colour variant.
The Spice Stellar 360 is now on sale on Amazon India and Snapdeal.
Earlier, Spice launched the Stellar 509 at Rs. 7,999 for the Indian market. The Spice Stellar 509 smartphone offers dual-SIM (GSM-GSM) support with dual standby and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
