While Sony announced its first selfie-focussed Xperia C3 smartphone last week, we might soon get introduced to the firm's next flagship smartphone, as alleged images of the Xperia Z3 have surfaced online.
Over the weekend, we came across a plethora of images claiming to show the upcoming Sony Xperia Z3 from all possible angles, giving us an idea of what the final product might look like.
The first bunch of leaked images for the rumoured Sony Xperia Z3 shared by Xperia Blog shows the handset's "About" section. According to the image, the forthcoming smartphone would run Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 MSM8974PRO-AC chip. Also seen is the firmware build of 23.0.G.0.98.
The second set of images coming from the same website showcase a black coloured variant of the alleged Sony Xperia Z3 and its sides with power button, volume buttons, microSD card slot and headphone jack. Also shown is the back panel of the
rumoured smartphone highlighting the 20.7-megapixel rear camera with Exmor RS sensor and G Lens. One of the images also shows 4G LTE availability.
To give a better idea of dimensions of the smartphone, the website has also shared an image that shows both the alleged Xperia Z3 and Samsung Galaxy Note kept side by side.
Needless to say, Sony has not yet shared any details about its forthcoming flagship smartphone, so it is hard to comment on these leaked images.
Earlier this month, some leaks indicating the existence of Sony Xperia Z3 Compact surfaced online. The report mentioned the Xperia Z3 Compact model is named D580x and that the smartphone might feature a 4.5-inch (720x1280 pixel) display. Other alleged Sony Xperia Z3 Compact specifications include a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC processor, an Adreno 330 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 20.7-megapixel rear camera and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera.
